I think it has to do with the offer and area you are targeting. I have heard horror stories of selling things to other countries do to fraud. Keep selling items to the US and Canada. Also, you will usually not get too many leads taken away. Although you have to get generally more clicks to make the same as a sales commission, usually it pays off better in the end.
