Has anyone here tried this affiliate site yet? I signed up a while ago - it's a shopping portal like Quidco, but the difference is that when you sign up friends you get a commission for any shopping they do, down to seven levels ... I've only earned a few pennies yet though, need to get more people to sign up under me!

I've never heard of it Bluecat. Is it a new one?

the trouble with any of these things is always trying to get your referals as anthused about something as you are!

I know what you mean, there's only so many sites that you can tell family and friends about before they start getting that glazed-over look in their eyes!!

Trouble with this one is it's hard to tell how much cashback you get - so I don't know if it's more beneficial shopping through Quidco, where you know the % of your cashback, or claim the unknown amount from eI42 and get friends involved too.

And there is the tricky issue, You might be able to get them interested enough to sign up, but who's to say they'll buy anything? Time wasted trying to generate leads.

I suppose you'll always have more success getting other enthralled about these sort of deals if you can show them evidence that you've earnt money. Of course, often you need the referrals to make decent money, so it's a bit Catch 22 really.

Well so far I've been a member of eI42 for a couple of months and have done some shopping through it and signed up three people under me ... and I've only earned £1.06. Okay, so it's a pound, but I don't really know if I'm better off using this site than others like Quidco etc. I guess it's only really worth doing if you can get a lot of people signed up under you who actually use the site to shop!

Your best bet is going to push the campaign to the internet. Adwords possibly. You aren't trying to get people interested in using the service forever, or again for that matter. You are wanting to find the people shopping online right now. If they sign up and buy something, then you win. They will probably never buy from the service again, but they bought because they were looking for something at that time.
