Other Methods of Making Money?

How else do you guys make money?

Sometimes I write for gas money. I also use Google AdSense on my sites as well as Kontera.

Anyone have any other methods of making money, offline or online is okay.

GasMoney was brought by JimKarter i guess. He is good friend of mine. I will check the blog out and talk to him about it. I am about to meet him day after tomorrow in a summit.

Haha, I'm not talking about that site.

I am talking about what I use the money I make online for.

I drive an 8-cylinder Ford Mustang GT, so gas prices are pretty damn expensive around where I live / the cost to fill it up.

Just a small update, I am going to start writing content/articles for websites now.
I wonder how much money that will make me...

I just recently wrote an article on video game design and I must say that I impressed my own self.

It doesn't generally pay particularly well, I didn't think. I wonder whether it's worth the time it takes to write a decently researched piece? What do you think?

Agreed, I've seen some companies wanting people to write articles for them and they're paying, like, 50c for a 500 word article!! Really not worth the hassle once you've researched the subject, written a first draft, edited and proofread etc.

EGS, could you recommend any good sites that are actually worth writing for?

You can do forum posting to make a little extra cash. I do this on occasions when I want to buy a new domain and am in need of some quick cash.

Content/Article based websites make money in the long term after you have them indexed and have lots of backlink and organic traffic. A friend of mine has over 100 websites like these and makes couple of thousand dollars monthly...mind you though, it took him almost 2 years to get there but well worth it.
