Default How to start a campaing

I've fiddled with Adwords for quite some time now, and I'm still confused. I started a campaign yesterday with some very general keywords. I even targeted specific websites with high PPC bids. However, it's been over 24 hours, and it's still showing that I have 0 impressions and 0 clicks on all my campaigns. Am I doing something wrong?Any insight is appreciated .

Is your campaign set to "active"?
Have your ads been approved?

It may take 24-48 hours until your ads begin to be displayed within Google.

Cool, it's been a few days now since you first posted. How has your campaign come on? Is it delivering in the end? And how long did it take to kick off?

There are delays unfortunately. Using Adwords and Azoogle is a pain if you are constantly checking your account, but they are an awesome combination. You probably need to change your keywords if the ad never took off. If the ad was approved, but just didn't get impressions, then nobody searched your keywords more than likely.

You may be targeting to specific, or the niche isn't popular. It is good to have a variety of keywords, short, long, general, specific. like if you are selling acne cream: acne, cream, acne cream, brand acne cream, zits begone, clean n clear, get rid of acne, get rid of acne overnight, overnight acne, acne treatment"

Not a perfect list, but just to show how you use general keywords like "acne" and more specifit like "brand acne cream" or "clean n clear". It would be like targeting restaurants and using: chinese food, good chinese food, chinese restaurant, san francisco chinese restaurants,... hope you get the idea.
