How do you find these tools offered by google adwords to work

Are they really worth to search for the keywords and other stuff related to google adwords. I have been using an external tool to do it and want to switch to google's own tools soon.

I never used those tools of heard of them.
For keyword tracking etc, I believe you can use Digital Point's free tool.

For everything else, use Google Analytics.

I use the adwords tool to help determine how well my keywords will perform by knowing which ones are saturated.
