I have been made to understand that searh engines love blogs and that each entry, no matter how small counts as a page. The blogs can be set up to make them even more friendly to search engines.

Search engines really do pick up blog entries quickly. I posted some information on a blog and then I did a search in google on the product name, and it showed in the third position on the page.

Search engines pick up blogs quickly because blogging platforms - such as WordPress - automatically ping blog and new post entries to major search engines.

Blogs are a great way to get indexed in search engines quickly, but the Internet is saturated with them.
