Like many other things I have been hearing about on the net, social bookmarking is one of the latest craze. My question is, does it really work? And what does it take to get the best results?
Yeah, It does work from what i have been hearing. I have made some new sites and used social bookmarking upon them. Waiting for the results to come in.
I have seen bullshit sites getting PR1 - 2 just on the basis of social bookmarking. It passes good link juice.
It really does seem like the latest way to promote ones website. I personally have not done it. I think I may have a report or two in my possession about it but I haven't had the chance to read yet.
Does it involve spending much money to get this strategy up and running, is it time consuming? I am considering using this strategy if it is worthwhile.
I am not absolutely clear as to how it works but it's where individuals bookmark a website to be reviewed later. The individuals are a part of a community that bookmarks webpages. The marked pages are then shared among the members of that community.
I too have heard that these sites present an opportunity for the clever marketeer. However, don't they take an awfully long time to maintain as most of them depend upon a users reputation?

How do they work? I haven't heard of this idea before, it sounds interesting. Could someone give me a simple explanation of what it's all about, please.
